Dan and Alia’s extensive background and dedication make them invaluable assets to the resort.

Dan’s journey in hospitality has led to significant roles at The Ritz-Carlton, Abama, The Ritz-Carlton, Abu Dhabi Grand Canal, and The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua. His career progression included roles as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi, and Director of Food and Beverage at W Maldives and The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands. Recognized for his exceptional contributions, Dan was promoted to Director of Operations at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, where he efficiently managed operations, enhanced guest experiences, and fostered a positive work environment. In his new capacity as Resort Manager, he will oversee all aspects of resort operations, ensuring the highest standard of service and upholding the resort’s reputation as a premier destination. Alia has been an integral part of The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands team since the pre-opening phase in 2021, starting as a Sales Manager. With over a decade of experience in hospitality, her journey began as a Butler at the One & Only Reethi Rah, Maldives, followed by roles at Amilla Fushi, Maldives. Her dedication at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands led to progression from Sales Manager to eventually to Assistant Director of Sales in May 2022, and Director of Sales by June 2023. As Director of Sales, Alia played a pivotal role in driving bookings and ensuring guest satisfaction through exemplary service standards. She excels in building relationships, market analysis, and team leadership. Passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences, Alia is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and diversity within both her team and at the resort as a whole.
