The Cocoon Collection has officially launched “The Starter Program,” a new internship initiative aimed at cultivating the next generation of Maldivian hospitality professionals.

As part of the program, leaders from the brand’s three renowned properties; Cocoon Maldives, Joy Island Maldives, and You & Me Maldives, traveled across the Maldives to identify passionate and motivated young individuals interested in pursuing careers in tourism and hospitality.

Following a comprehensive selection process, 31 students and young talents were chosen for this inaugural intake. The program was formally inaugurated at Joy Island Maldives, marking a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to investing in local talent and supporting national development.

The Cocoon Collection expressed confidence in the first batch of participants, noting that their energy and dedication will play an important role in shaping the future of the brand’s resorts and contributing to the continued growth of the Maldivian tourism industry.
