Mirihi Island Resort is set to host Wellness Week from April 22 to 27, 2024. This special event will feature a variety of activities aimed at rejuvenating the mind, body, and soul, with a team of expert wellness facilitators on hand to guide guests through the journey.

The week-long program will offer a wide range of activities designed to help guests find inner peace and improve their overall well-being. Mirihi Island's resident yogi, Danushkha, will lead sessions in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha, and Iyengar Yoga. These yoga styles are known to enhance flexibility, build muscle strength, and promote a sense of calm and focus.

Also joining the event is Suchan Hong, founder of Sawasdee Tai Chi Studio in Thailand, who will be teaching Yang Style Tai Chi. This ancient Chinese tradition, rooted in martial arts, is now popular as a low-impact exercise that is suitable for all ages. Tai Chi sessions are designed to improve internal organ strength, enhance concentration, and contribute to emotional balance.

For those seeking a more holistic approach to relaxation, Lia from Yoga Bliss with Lia - Bali will offer Reiki healing sessions. Reiki, a Japanese technique known for reducing stress and aiding relaxation, is a gentle and safe form of energy healing that aims to clear and balance the body's energy pathways.

Water aerobics sessions will also be available in the resort's crystal-clear lagoon, providing a fun and effective way to burn calories while enjoying the beauty of the surroundings. This low-impact activity is ideal for individuals with arthritis or joint pain, as the water's buoyancy reduces stress on the joints.

Guests will also have the opportunity to explore their creative side with Healing Painting sessions, followed by a sumptuous seafood BBQ dinner on the beach, offering a unique culinary experience.
