JW Marriott has opened the JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll Island Resort, its second luxury resort in the Maldives. Located just 15 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport, the resort offers a quick and easy escape to paradise.

The resort sits in Kaafu Atoll's largest lagoon and features 80 private pool villas, including 47 overwater villas. Each villa provides stunning ocean views, spacious terraces, and direct access to the clear, blue waters. For larger groups, the Three-Bedroom Ocean Residence offers extra space and panoramic sea views.

Designed by architect Cuneyt Bukulmez of Atolye4N, the resort combines Maldivian tradition with modern luxury. The arrival jetty, shaped like a Maakana heron in flight, gives guests a unique welcome. The villas include traditional Maldivian features such as kajan roofs, turquoise doors, and handmade lacquerware.
