​​​​South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) has been endorsed by the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI).

Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI)’s President Mrs Jyoti Mayal who met with the President of South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) Mr. Ismail Hameed, agreed on the endorsement as a supporting partner of the brand.

TAAI counts more than 2,500 Travel and Tourism companies as its members. TAAI is India’s largest, longest-running and most respected Travel and Tourism association.

While the SATA brand began in 2016, it is a well anticipated event by the region's largest hospitality brands, having over thousand nominations each year from six destinations entitled, which includes India, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. South Asian Travel Awards is endorsed / supported by over 18 travel industry organizations and tourism bodies from these destinations. 

Mr. Hameed said “having TAAI’s support is definitely a big achievement and we look forward to more collaborations within the fraternity during the event this year. Travel organizations of the region need to have more affiliations and we are happy to organize and invite parties to engage and create opportunities.”

This year’s SATA Gala and Retreat is scheduled to take place during October at Sheraton Grand Hotel Bangalore at Brigade Gateway in India.
