The Real Estate Empire of Thailand has launched its intergreated resorts and duty free zone project at Embudu Lagoon in Male' Atoll.  

Embudoo Lagoon among the largest in Male' Atoll and in very close range to Velana International Airport has been given on contract basis for a period of 50 years by the government. Singha Estates revealed that a total of 10 resorts and and duty free zones would be developed within the project. Meanwhile Singha Estate confirms that the first 3 resorts will be opened by 2018.

A mass area has been reclaimed from ocean for the development of this new integrated project while its expected that more than 40 million dollars of investments will be in place by completion.
