Tekkers Maldives concluded the North Kaafu Atoll zone finale of the Tekkers Resort Cup on August 29, 2023 (Tuesday). A heated final match against Kurumba Maldives saw Jumeirah Maldives dance their way to victory. For the North Kaafu Finale, the staff and passionate supporters of Kurumba Maldives and Jumeirah Maldives joined together to witness the showdown. 

The hosts, Kurumba Maldives, took the lead in the first half only for it to be equalized by Jumeirah in the same half. The hosts took the lead again only for it to be equalized once again by a spectacular strike by Jumeirah’s finest. Nearing the end of the second half, Jumeirah got themselves a free kick which was taken sublimely by Hussain Saif Moosa in order to put themselves ahead in the finale and Jumeirah Maldives went on to win the game.

Jumeirah Maldives’ Hussain Saif Moosa was awarded the game’s man of the match. The best coach of the tournament was Jumeirah Maldives’ Ahmed Shuzuny. The top 5 players in this zone were Ahmed Thoif from Jumeirah Maldives, Mohamed Ishaan from Jumeirah Maldives, Abdulla Ahil Ali from Kurumba Maldives, Mohamed Waheedh from Kurumba Maldives and Ali Ageed from Jumeirah Maldives. The top scorer of this zone was awarded to Hussain Saif Moosa who netted a total of nine goals for Jumeirah Maldives. The best player of North Kaafu Atoll was none other than Hussain Saif Moosa from Jumeirah Maldives.
