Kuredu Island Resort wins TUI Environmental Champion 2020

Kuredu Island Resort has been awarded the TUI Environmental Champion 2020 for the fifth consecutive year.

This important award is a testament to the resort's ongoing, measurable actions toward sustainable hotel management.

The TUI Environmental Champion audit covers a wide range of criteria in areas of conservation of the environment and implementation of social responsibility. The resort expressed gratitude towards the guidance of TUI that complements and enhances their commitment to sustainability, Kuredu is a more responsible resort every year.

Kuredu has significantly reduced the number of single-use plastics at the resort, encouraging guests to use reusable water flasks, also providing in-house bottled water and cutlery made from biodegradable materials whenever possible.

Moreover, kuredu works hard to raise eco-awareness among guests, team and local communities alike. Kuredu has been a proud recipient of the Travellife Gold Award through 2018 - 2020.
