The presentations of selected finalists for the 2019 edition of Maldives Business Awards has commenced.

As per Blazon Inc., the organizer of the event the presentations of finalists commenced on 26 November at Maagiri Hotel.

Prior to the selection of finalists, all entrants for the awards are pre-evaluated from each category before the selection.

The finalists from both Industry Excellence and Enterprise Excellence categories are required with a presentation of their respective businesses before the judges.

Following this, presentations are succeeded by a Q&A session with the four main criteria of evaluation during the phase being; Finance, Customer, Internal Process and Human Resource and Development.

The 2019 edition of Maldives Business Awards marks the first time for each of the entry categories to have its comprehensive sub-criteria and weightage.

A total of 51 finalists from 19 distinct categories are scheduled with their presentations from 26 November until 04 December at the venue of Maagiri Hotel which is acting as the events host partner for judging.

Post presentations, the expert judging panel will conduct a final evaluation and following the tallying of the marksheets by audit partner Crowe Horwath the winners will be selected.

Regarding the business awarding event, its organizer Blazon Inc notes that the "standards of the award is sustained throughout the process to maintain integrity."

Blazon Inc in its remarks notes that it is a business excellence award and "therefore a very comprehensive judging is required" while adding that all the processes of the evaluation phase will be "audited, documented and technical reports submitted to supporting and endorsing agencies."

The Maldives Business Awards second edition will have its Gala event in the upcoming month of December.
