On October 21 and October 22, Licorería Limantour’s team of award-winning mixologists led by creative maverick José Luis León Martinez will take over the resort’s dramatic Whale Bar that overlooks a private coral reef in the Indian Ocean. St. Regis guests will be presented with a dazzling array of handcrafted elixirs, each a work of art in its own right and meticulously prepared to tantalize the taste buds. With tropical ingredients sourced from small producers in Oaxaca, the sensorial experience comprises eight libations where each cocktail becomes a canvas, and every sip tells a story.

The Mangostan is a captivating fusion of flavors and textures achieved with an innovative milk washing technique that clarifies and refines a blend of vodka, sake, rosé wine and mangosteen, a Mexican fruit known for its sweet and tangy flavor profile. The Hibiscus combines smoky mezcal, floral hibiscus and zesty lime to capture the harmonious flavors of Mexico. The Margarita Al Pastor, the cocktail that helped establish Limantour as a world-class institution, draws inspiration from Mexico’s ubiquitous taco al pastor dish with pineapple, chili and cilantro.
