Another nest of sea turtle eggs has hatched after 71 days of incubation on the beach at Kagi Maldives Spa Island, revealed the resort team.

This is the second hawksbill sea turtle nesting to hatch in 2021 as Kagi Maldives previously shared its exciting experience of welcoming over 100 Hawksbill hatchlings on June 15. This first batch of sea turtles were carefully led to the ocean guided by the ‘Green Team’ at the resort during sunset time.

The hatchlings from the second nest turned up from the sand on the night of July 8, 2021. Kagi Maldives has one more nest under observation that is expected to hatch in August 2021.

Kagi Maldives not only cares about the wellbeing of its guests but also looks after the environment and the property’s magnificent natural surroundings.
