After a huge success in last year’s tournament, Tekkers is set to introduce the second coming of the resort cup. With over 44 teams in 6 different atolls, Ozen Life Maadhoo came out victorious in the first ever edition of Tekkers Resort Cup.

It is without a doubt that a recreational activity like the resort cup will be giving the resort staff a morale boost. The resort cup brought all the employees in unity to support their team, which brought a sense of joyness in their daily life.

The Maldives' untapped futsal potential has also been revealed during this competition. The top 5 competitors from the last competition are Hussain Wifaag (Ozen Life Maadhoo), Adam Azim (Conrad Maldives Rangali Island), Unais Zubair (Milaidhoo Maldives), and Ali Naseer (Milaidhoo Maldives) (Baros Maldives). Mohamed Sirukhaan won the top playmaker award for accumulating the most assists, as well as being named the tournament's best player. Jaadulla Ahmed of Ozen Life Maadhoo won the award for the competition's best young player. The golden boot goes to Simhaadh Ibrahim of the Ritz-Carlton. Ozen Life Maadhoo's wall Ahmed Shameem is the best goalkeeper in the competition.

Same as last year the tournament's winners will receive a cash prize of USD 5,000, while the runners-up will take home USD 2,500. Medals and trophies will be given to Zone Champions and Atoll Champions, including those for the top 5 players, best player, and top scorer.
