Lily Hotels has announced the appointment of Thilak Bandaranayake as Cluster E-Commerce & Distribution Manager.

With over a decade of experience in hospitality e-commerce, digital marketing, and revenue management across Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Thilak brings a proven track record in driving online visibility, optimising OTA performance, and delivering strategic growth.

His expertise spans SEM/PPC campaigns, channel distribution, revenue optimisation, and data-driven marketing—all focussed on maximising digital revenue streams. Thilak will further ensure digital marketing campaigns are executed efficiently to maximise revenue from FITs and brand website and OTAs.

Reflecting on his career in hospitality, he shared: “The biggest takeaway for me is that this industry is built on adaptability, relationships, and delivering consistent value to guests. No matter how the technology evolves, the core of hospitality remains human connection.”
