The islandchief Partners with Ace Travels Maldives for the Development of Tourism in Southern Maldives

Leading travel management company, Ace Travels Maldives has partnered with The islandchief for the development of tourism in the southern region of the Maldives.   

As a media partner for the travel agency, The islandchief will extend support in publicizing key information in travel routes and airlines’ connectivity across the southern atoll in addition to newly developed tourist establishments and discounted rates available onboard and stays for the guests.   

Most recently, SriLankan Airlines has partnered with emerging local airline, Manta Air to enable seamless travel to the islands with SriLankan connecting its passengers from Colombo - Gan and Manta Air providing domestic operations from Gan International Airport to the islands in the southern region.   

Ace Aviation Services Maldives is the General Services Agent for SriLankan Airlines. With joint effort from Ace Aviation Services Maldives, Ace Travels Maldives, SriLankan Airlines, Manta Air and Gan International Airport, connectivity across the southern atolls have expanded starting domestic operations from Gan International Airport to Kooddoo Airport. Additional routes are set to be announced for locals, expatriates and guests flying to the southern atolls of Maldives, informs Ace Aviation Services Maldives.   

SriLankan Airlines has also announced to commence its second weekly frequency to Gan, Addu City, from March 27, 2022, onwards. The frequency is expected to boost the Indian tourists visiting the southern atolls via Manta Air’s domestic flights.
