The official website of Uthuru Maritime Services (UMS) was launched during a special ceremony organized by Maldives Ports Limited (MPL). During the event, MPL's CEO, Mr. Mohamed Wajeeh Ibrahim, highlighted that the new website will serve as a comprehensive resource for information on services available in the Upper North, including fueling, bunkering, and other essential offerings for the marine industry. 

Mr. Shimad Ibrahim, the Managing Director of State Trading Organization (STO), also spoke at the ceremony and expressed that UMS will receive STO’s support and assistance in delivering these vital services in the Upper North. He further assured that STO is committed to assisting not only in the fueling sector but across all areas to cater to the needs of international clients.
