Genicular artery embolization is a minimally invasive alternative to knee joint replacement for patients with osteoarthritis. The treatment, successfully practiced for two years, is particularly beneficial for elderly patients and individuals with complications such as diabetes or obesity, making traditional surgery unsuitable.
