Ooredoo Maldives Commemorates N. Landhoo as the First Digital Island

 Chief Commercial Officer of Ooredoo Maldives, Hussain Niyaz, proudly presented a special plaque to Abdul Azeez, President of the N. Landhoo Council to commemorate N. Landhoo as the first Digital Island in the Maldives - recognizing their impressive efforts in adoption of digital innovation aimed at enhancing the lives of its residents. In addition to this Mr. Hussain Niyaz also launched the official website of N. Landhoo. (www.landhoo.gov.mv)

N. Landhoo was first unveiled as the first Digital Island from Ooredoo Maldives’ Digital Maldives, Powered by AI campaign on the occasion of World Telecommunications Day on 17th May 2024. This groundbreaking project underscores Ooredoo's commitment to advancing digital inclusion and empowerment across the nation.

In collaboration with the Council of N. Landhoo, Ooredoo will spearhead efforts to revolutionize the socio-economic landscape of the island community. Through strategic partnerships and innovative digital solutions, the Ooredoo Digital Island program aims to further unlock new avenues for growth and development, particularly in critical sectors such as healthcare, education, and commerce.

Leveraging its high-speed telecommunication network and transformational services, Ooredoo Maldives ensure that Landhoo remains at the forefront of the new digital era powered by AI, ensuring residents have access to the latest advancements in digital technology and innovation.
