Ooredoo Maldives has announced to host the football Legend Jay-Jay Okocha, former Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star and Nigerian national team icon in an official visit to the tropical paradise. This landmark visit is product of our partnership with Premium partner Paris Saint-Germain and anticipated to inspire and engage football enthusiasts and the broader community across the islands.

Augustine Azuka "Jay-Jay" Okocha (born August 14, 1973) is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He won 73 caps for the Nigeria national team between 1993 and 2006, scoring 14 goals, and was a member of three FIFA World Cup squads. He is regarded as one of the greatest football players from Africa. Jay-Jay Okocha, renowned for his mesmerizing skills, creativity, and exceptional playmaking ability, will be in the Maldives from July 1 to 6, 2024. Throughout his visit, Okocha will participate in community initiatives and showcase the beauty of the Maldives to his extensive fanbase as well as PSG's followers worldwide.
