JOALI BEING is proud to share the highlights from an exciting event in November 2024, featuring renowned tennis stars Sascha Zverev, Mischa Zverev, and Marcelo Melo. This remarkable series of events brought together communities and guests for an inspiring celebration of the sport.

A key moment of the season was the special tennis workshop held on November 25, 2024 in collaboration with the Alexander Zverev Foundation, which supports children with diabetes. Led by world number 2 tennis player Sascha Zverev, the workshop provided young Maldivian students from the neighboring island of R. Fainu with a unique opportunity to refine their tennis skills. Among the participants were teenagers living with diabetes, joined by their teachers and the principal of R. Fainu School. The session also welcomed Fathih Mohamed, a Young Leader in Diabetes and the Regional Representative for the Maldives at the International Diabetes Federation. After the workshop, Fathih, along with the tennis stars, shared motivational messages with the students, leaving a lasting and inspiring impact on the participants.

The celebration continued on November 29, 2024 with a lively event at JOALI BEING, inviting guests of all ages to train and play alongside the tennis pros. This engaging event fostered a strong sense of community, as participants enjoyed friendly competition and the shared joy of tennis. The tennis stars led a series of workshops, which culminated in a spirited game that brought the event to a memorable close.

From 20th to 30th November, JOALI BEING offered guests the exclusive opportunity to receive personalized coaching from Sascha Zverev, along with Mischa Zverev and Marcelo Melo. These private sessions, held on the island’s stunning tennis courts, provided invaluable expert guidance and a truly memorable experience for all who participated.
