NATAS together with High Commission of Maldives in Singapore to host a Destination Webinar on 30th June 2021

National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS) together with High Commission of Maldives in Singapore has scheduled to host a Destination Maldives Webinar on Wednesday, 30th June 2021.

Both NATAS and High Commission of Maldives in Singapore has invited members of the tourism industry to join the webinar and understand the opportunities available as Singapore gradually opens its borders. 

The special webinar will be conducted with the support of Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Ministry of Tourism and Maldives Marketing & PR Corporation (MMPRC)  allowing to share new protocols and travel procedures within the new normal.

Singapore Airlines, ranked consistently as the world’s best airline, first flew to the Maldives in March 1984 and has been operating weekly Singapore-Male services, whilst the regional wing SilkAir launched four-times-weekly services in the year 2015. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, a total of 16 weekly services to Male were offered by both Singapore Airlines and SilkAir which halted its flights after the global pandemic. Singapore Airlines resumed its flights on 30th March 2021 and has scheduled three weekly flights to Maldives which is operated on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Maldives has more than 152 resorts , 930 guests houses and 130 Liveaboards permitted to operate under the new normal prosecutes.
