The Maldives, world-renowned for its immense diving destinations, has also been luring scores of innumerable Indians to their shores.

What statistics say: As per the research of the Indian High Commission in the Maldives, approximately 62,905 Indian tourists have holidayed there by the end of 2020. It accounts for about 11.3% of the island country’s total tourism market share, and this is the most by any country yet!

The Maldives has not ever been involved in the decimation of its fish population. Thus, there are enormous waves here, and the clarity underwater is quite good. And since you are in an atoll that is a ring-shaped foot, you will not get hit by the ocean. This is now commonly becoming a strong point of attraction for several Indian tourists since they can get much better water and health benefits.

The eye-catching archipelago of the Maldives is a great dream holiday destination at any point in time, but as we all know, 2020 is the year when travel becomes challenging.

THE BEST TIME TO PAY VISIT TO THE MALDIVES

A significant reason why many people have now started to travel to the Maldives is the perfect weather over here. November to April - is best known as the ideal time to visit this island country. Why?

- The average temperature across the Maldives currently ranges between 29°C to 31°C, making it the perfect holiday destination.

- Rainfall during this tenure is minimal, and the humidity is ranging to relatively low between January and April.

- Another reason why Indians love the place because the Maldives is an accessible destination for Indian passport holders.

- The resorts and the restaurants, and other complete tourism establishments follow some of the proper guidelines provided by the Ministry of Tourism. Thus, there are no such complaints of safety and health and hygiene guidelines.

The islands superbly follow the concept of one-island-one-resort under which several travelers will visit the Maldives that are confined to the resort they are staying in. This will make the experience relatively safer as compared to any other place.
