Maldivian Airlines expands to new destinations in China

Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldivian airline has introduced its first scheduled flights from Hangzhou, China on the 15th September 2017.

The initial flight to Hangzhou the capital of Zhejiang Province located in southeast China departed from Velana International Airport on the 13th September and welcomed 200 passengers that arrived from Hangzhou to Maldives on the 15th September morning.

The airline has stated that an Airbus A321 aircraft will be operating the route once a week.

Currently the passenger carrier operates scheduled routes to Chengdu, Chongqing, Xian, Nanjing, and Wuhan of China.

Maldivian is the airline division of Island Aviation Services based in Malé, in the Maldives. It is the national airline of the Maldives. It operates international flights in addition to inter-island services. Its main base is Ibrahim Nasir International Airport.
