JOALI BEING recently hosted exclusive tennis clinics featuring Tomas Berdych, the former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic. Berdych, who reached No. 4 in the world rankings in 2015, is renowned for his significant achievements, including a memorable 2010 Wimbledon final appearance and leading his country to back-to-back Davis Cup titles in 2012 and 2013. He currently serves as the Czech Republic's Davis Cup Captain.

On February 11th and 13th, 2025, Berdych led two special tennis clinics, providing guests of all ages, from children to adults, the opportunity to rediscover their love for tennis. He shared his passion for the sport, guiding participants to enhance their skills in a fun and supportive environment.

A dedicated clinic was also organized for the local community, welcoming students, parents, and teachers from R. Innamaadhoo School. This session aimed to develop tennis skills while encouraging young Maldivian players to embrace the sport and benefit from its lessons on fitness, joy, and discipline.

During his visit, Berdych offered personalized one-on-one lessons, giving guests a unique opportunity to receive expert coaching directly from a tennis legend.
