The Small Maldives Island Co announces completed new island resort for sale

The brand new Ifuru Resort nestled in Raa Atoll, a secluded enclave in the north of the Maldives is up for sale by The Small Maldives Island Co (TSMIC). 

Included in the offer is the fully operational Ifuru Airport and the beautiful bare island of Funadhoo. 

With a lease period of 50 years, this alluring property encompasses a spacious land area of 56.52 hectares. Ifuru Resort offers an excellent return on investment; particularly due to the unique efficiencies offered by an airport being located on the same island.

Along with selling a brand-new Maldives island resort with its own airport called Ifuru Resort in Raa Atoll Maldives," said General Manager of Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences, Jason Kruse.

The villas have been positioned for optimum views and privacy on a 7.5-hectare swathe of the island. With a total of 150 villas, they comprise of six Twin Villas, 100 Duplex Villas, 35 Beach Villas and nine Beach Villas with Pool, creating a maximum bed capacity of 300.

A recreation centre, badminton court, tennis court, a fully-equipped gym, kids club, dive centre, water sports centre and a clinic (with the doctors accommodation), are all located on Ifuru Resort. 

Staff accommodations on the island include 8 buildings (128 rooms), with a maximum capacity of 400 beds.

Additionally, Ifuru Airport has been operating since 2015 and is currently managed by Island Aviation Services Limited. 

Funadhoo Island is in Baa Atoll, Northern Maldives. It is 110 kilometres away from Male and takes 25-30 minutes via seaplane, 20-25 minutes via domestic flight or 3 hours by speedboat. The island has a total of 11.69 hectors of virgin land enough to accommodate around 90 villas (concept available).
