Maldives Airports Company Ltds 1st Female Fire Fighting batch to be trained abroad

Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL) is proud to send the 1st batch of Female Fire Fighters to the Basic Airport Rescue & Fire Fighting course abroad. Altogether 12 female fire fighters will join their 7 male counter parts at the training course.

 

In a special meeting with the Fire Fighters, MACLs Acting Managing Director Mr. Moosa Solih praised the work done by the ARFF team and told all the Fire Fighters to make the country proud. He further said that in an effort to balance the gender gap at Velana International airport, this is an achievement.

 

The 2 month training course will be conducted at Palembang Aviation Training College Palembang, Indonesia.
