Sun Siyam Resorts continues its mission to empower women throughout the organisation and in celebration of International Women’s Day, have created a number of activities to place emphasis on its importance.

At Sun Siyam Iru Veli a schedule of events have been arranged for guests and team members from Zumba to cocktail events, culminating with a BBQ Beach Dinner for female team members. With the theme #insprireinclusion, the resort aims to embody these words throughout their celebrations. At Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, guests can take part in a sumptuous lobster beach banquet to celebrate the women in their lives to celebrate this years International Women’s Day.  

Sun Siyam Vilu Reef celebrates International Women's Day on March 8 by honoring the remarkable women on its team, both local and international. The event includes a special dinner by the beach attended by staff and distinguished women from nearby local island Dh. Meedhoo. It aims to recognize the strength and empowerment of women from diverse backgrounds and highlight their contributions to the community. Thoughtful gifts will be presented as tokens of gratitude, showcasing the resort's commitment to inclusivity and empowerment. Several other activities have been carried out at Sun Siyam Olhuveli, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi and Siyam World to celebrate and honor their incredible female team members throughout.
