Siyam World Maldives to Celebrate Easter Holidays by Transforming into a Chocolate World with Willy Wonka

Siyam World, Maldives is gearing up for its very first Easter celebrations and promises to transform its natural 54-hectare lush island resort into a fun-filled “Chocolate World with Willy Wonka” inspired Easter holiday themed programme. 

Marking its second biggest event since festive season, Siyam World Maldives is set to create yet another exciting and extraordinary experience for its guest during the upcoming Easter holiday season, which are to take place for a whopping seven days starting from the 15th of April. 

The Easter season kicks off with Willy Wonka themed family fun games and an exciting egg hunt for the “Golden Ticket” to win an extraordinary prize. Families & groups of friends will be thoroughly entertained by a variety of hilarious and games such as Easter treasure hunt with Oompa Loompas and the Easter bunny and incredibly fun games such as Water Balloon fights with Wonka are just a few activities in an array of treasured and exciting activities. Water sports and recreation activities include fun Mermaid sessions, snorkeling excursions and scuba ranger sessions for your little ones.  

Veyo Spa at Siyam World Maldives has also lined up tailored sessions for those looking for revitalization and relaxation this Easter including group yoga sessions and special Veyo spa treatments. 

Brimming with extraordinary escapades to delight all ages, the culinary side of the festivities begin with The Grand Easter Sunday Lunch and The Easter Dinner creating an unbelievable gastronomical journey that will leave guests wanting even more.  

It doesn’t stop there either, as Siyam World keeps adding more culinary delights and enticing taste-buds teasers to their repertoire by introducing a milkshake counter set-up where guests can chose to have their favorite flavored milkshake or experiment with different flavors -Chocolate-galore!  

As part of Siyam World’s year-round visiting star chefs’ program and to add that little cherry on top of the cake of those Easter celebrations, Two-Michelin-star Chef Sebastian Frank, will join the resort’s Easter Escapades this year by preparing his world-famous home-style Austrian dishes at THE CUBE, the newest addition to the array of dining outlets at Siyam World, Maldives.  

Sebastian Frank is one of Germany’s best-known chefs and is highly regarded not only for his excellent, home-style Austrian cuisine, but also for his commitment to a sustainable and responsible food culture.  

As a just 14 years young boy, he began his apprenticeship as a chef at the four-star Hotel Wende in Neusiedl am See (AT). Afterwards he cooked in renowned star houses until he found his new home as a chef in the tradition,- and several times top class declared HORVÁTH restaurant. In 2011, Frank won the prestigious live competition “Chef of the Year” as the strongest chef in the entire D-A-CH region. Shortly thereafter, HORVÁTH was awarded a Michelin star. After taking over the management of the restaurant together with his partner Jeannine Kessler in 2014, the 2nd star in the Guide Michelin followed in November 2015. In 2017, the jury of the Berlin Master Chefs awarded him the title of “Berlin Master Chef”. In 2018, he was named “Best Chef in Europe 2018” at “madridfusion”. In 2019, his first book “kuk” was published, which sometimes bears the prize of the “best cookbook of a star chef. 

Guests can make a splash at the Indian Ocean’s biggest floating water park with the Siyam Water World Warrior challenge, as well as unlimited access and numerous water-based activities to keep everyone entertained and active throughout the season. Think fun parkour challenges, banana boat rides, beach parties and funky sounds played by the resort’s resident DJs. Exuberant adults meanwhile can live their best lives at Siyam World’s epic beach pool and foam parties, or get wet and wild with exhilarating seabob rides, electric jet surfing, flyboarding, snorkeling and diving at the resort’s watersports centre.
