The much-anticipated 5th edition of Vacations Expo has officially opened its doors, bringing together key stakeholders and travel enthusiasts in a grand celebration of the tourism industry. This year’s expo is expected to be the largest yet, with a remarkable lineup of exhibitors and promotional events that promise to engage and inspire visitors.

The event was inaugurated by Chair of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) Board, Ms. Ayesha Nurain Janah and Mohamed Firaq, Managing Director, Ace Travels Services. Senior government officials including Deputy Ministers, State Ministers represented their government bodies at the opening ceremony of Vacations Expo. Furthermore, Ambassadors to Maldives from Pakistan and Japan attended the ceremony. 

Ace Travels Maldives took the lead as the main sponsor, with Inner Maldives, Ace Aviation Travels, and the Saudi Embassy as co-sponsors. This collaborative effort is further supported by the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), the Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI), the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO), and the National Guesthouse Association of Maldives (NHGAM), underscoring the event's significance in the industry.

The 2024 edition of Vacations Expo offers a unique experience for attendees, featuring a diverse array of local and international exhibitors from across the travel and hospitality sectors. The expo is designed to facilitate networking, knowledge-sharing, and the exploration of new travel opportunities. 

One of the highlights of this year's expo is the Instagram 'Photo Contest' campaign, where participants have the chance to win one of three grand travel prizes: a two-night resort stay, an Umrah trip, and a round-trip ticket to Malaysia on SriLankan Airlines. The contest deadline is April 27 at 1500 hrs, so there's still time to participate and win!

In addition to the 'Photo Contest,' visitors can enjoy the 'Visit and Win' lucky draws, offering a variety of exciting prizes. These include 30 free seats on the Whale Submarine, a free ticket to a surprise destination each night by Voyages Maldives, free ticket to Dubai for two by Beond, additional Umrah trips, and more. With such a wide range of prizes, attendees are encouraged to visit as many exhibitor stalls as possible to increase their chances of winning.

The Vacations Expo, presented by Highrise Pvt Ltd, is now in its fifth edition and continues to serve as a premier platform for professionals in the travel and tourism industry. This year's expo is set to be a vibrant gathering of industry experts, travel agents, tour operators, resorts, hotels, guesthouses, dive centers, and more.
