MTCC extends its transportation services to transfer patients from and to quarantine facilities

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (MTCC) has announced that they will be supporting the Maldives National Defence Force and National Disaster Management Authority by extending its land and sea transportation services to conduct safe patient transfer to and from quarantine and isolation facilities.

According to the local media, CEO of MTCC Adam Azim said that this service will be carried out together with MTCC and the Maldives National Defence Force. He further added that the transportation vessels and vehicles will be operated by MTCC staff.

 

MNDF will be managing the safety precautions required for the operating staff. Azim also said that the working employees have undergone trainings required for the transfer of patients. As such, the employees will be dressed in a protective way and other additional measures will informed by the MNDF.

 

During these dire circumstances, MTCC will be working to provide their services to the fullest for the people of the community, says the company.
