The Crown & Champa Resorts introduces Jawakara Islands Maldives. This 290 villa, family-friendly, 5-star luxury private island, is the newest addition to the collection.

The islands are in an unexplored area of the Lhaviyani Atoll, where marine life is as diverse as it is abundant. The islands breathe originality into a paradise, making it perfect for discovering your dream escape. Privacy is ensured by the Maldives’ famous ‘One Island-One Resort’ concept. However, a long-stretched 700-meter bridge over the Jawakara House Reef connects the two islands, Mabin and Dheru Island, into one resort – a concept offering guests a combination of the two islands. 

Jawakara Islands Maldives brings you to an island filled with a presence of traditional luxury Maldives mixed with a vibrant and modern twist. Centered in the middle of the Indian Ocean, with a rich tropical nature filled with luscious plantations and miles of soft white sandy beaches and calm coral lagoons surrounding the islands, at Jawakara, time allows you to relax with your loved ones in utter bliss.

To reach Jawakara Islands Maldives, guests can choose between an iconic Maldives seaplane transfer of 40 minutes or a 35 minutes comfort domestic flight transfer to Madivaru Airport following a 40 minutes speedboat transfer to the resort.

The resort offers Beach Villas, Beach Pool villas, Three Bedroom Villas, Two Bedroom Villas and over-water accommodations – the Water Pool Villas are suitable for families and separate water villas in Dheru for adults-only guests for 18 years plus. The island has a white sandy beach, magnificent lagoons, an excellent house reef for snorkeling, and a dive center.

Guests can appreciate 6 restaurants and 6 bars, two spas, excursions and a water sports center. Sports and recreation include two infinity swimming pools overlooking the ocean, a kid’s pool; artificial turf courts for football (futsal), padel tennis, tennis and badminton courts; a fitness center; a volleyball court and a golf course. In addition, there are gift shops, a photo studio, entertainment, a medical clinic and two welcome pavilions.

The larger island, Mabin, welcomes children in all the room categories, including the Water Pool Villas. The two islands making up the Jawakara Islands Maldives experience the larger Mabin Island, which is 1400 meters long by 300 meters wide. The smaller Dheru Island is intimate and 450 meters long by 150 meters. The island names are a tribute to the original island names.
