The Four Seasons Maldives Hospitality Apprenticeship Programme has opened applications for its Class of 2027. Launched in 2001, the programme is the Maldives’ longest-running hospitality apprenticeship and will celebrate supporting more than one thousand graduates by 2026. Many former apprentices now work in supervisory and managerial roles at resorts in the Maldives and abroad.
Accredited by the Government of Maldives since 2010, the programme offers hands-on training and weekly classes at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa and Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru. Training is provided in areas such as Food Preparation, Food and Beverage Service, Marine Biology, PADI Divemaster, Watersports, Retail, Photography, Housekeeping, Guest Services, and Safe Maritime Transport. Apprentices receive room and board, a monthly stipend, and professional guidance throughout the programme.
Selected graduates from the first year may continue to a Second Year Apprenticeship in Front Office and Recreation, Engineering, or Reservations. Those who excel in technical fields may also join a Third Year Advanced Engineering Programme.
The first recruitment and screening session for the Class of 2027 will be held in Malé on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 09:00 a.m. at SHE Building, Buruzu Hall (3rd Floor). More recruitment sessions will take place across different islands in the coming months.
All are encouraged to share this opportunity with young people interested in starting a career in hospitality. Updates and announcements are available on Instagram at fsmaldives.apprenticeship.
