Avia Maldives completes repatriation mission with Philippine Airlines

Avia Maldives has successfully completed a repatriation mission with Philippine Airlines yesterday taking back 336 Filipino nationals back to their country.

 

Philippines Airlines landed at Velana International Airport, Male yesterday for the first in its 79 years of glamorous services worldwide.

 

The repatriation mission was carried out in collaboration with the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the Philippine Consulate in the Republic of Maldives to return 336 Philippine nationals from the island nation.

 

The airline dispatched its 368-seat Airbus A330-343 aircraft (with registry RP-C8760) for the repatriates. The flight departed for Maldives at 2:21 am Male time from Manila and arrived at 8:59 am Male' time.
