British High Commissioner to Maldives, Caron Rohsler has revealed that most brit tourists vacationing in the Maldives have returned safely back to their respective countries.

The British High Commission in the Maldives along with British Airways worked together to get these passengers back to their home country, informs Caron. Noting that this is the last British Airways flight to Maldives before it ceases scheduled operations to Maldives, remaining brit tourists who have not registered with the high commission are strongly advised to do so.

British High Commission instructs remaining brit guests in Maldives to contact them via social media platforms (Twitter) to receive further information and answers as well as to register.

British Airways will be temporarily halting operations to Sydney between April 9 and April 22. The airways has also provided passengers with the opportunity to rebook their tickets for the London - HongKong route as it has announced this route will not be taken from 5th April.
