In celebration of LUX* North Male Atolls first anniversary, a lunch was held and attended by the Minister of Tourism Hon. Ali Waheed and the local travel media.

LUX* North Male Atoll was the first resort opened by Minister Ali Waheed since he assumed the position of Minister of Tourism. The Minister highlighted the significance of having opened the resort and its contribution to the tourism industry. He also expressed his appreciation to the local travel media for being a part of the countrys travel and trade industry.

During the celebration, the Minister handed over certificates of appreciation to employees who have been working with LUX* North Males since the resort was in the building phase. The resort also made a donation of USD 5,000 to the Maldivian Thalassemia Fund with the help of its Tree of Wishes fund-raising initiative.

On January 27th, in celebration of their one-year anniversary, LUX* North Malé Atoll also unveiled their luxury catamaran. The 'Lagoon 40' catamaran comes equipped with three elegantly designed cabins with en-suite bathrooms, a dining space and a kitchenette, tailored to grant an unforgettable experience.

The intimate luxury resort, LUX* North Male Atoll Resort & Villas is the dazzling vision of Singapore design house Miaja. From eye-catching architecture to ocean-inspired interiors, each of the 67 double-storey villas heightens the art of contemporary open-plan living - with a bold dash of city chic elegance. Whether set on the beach, or on stilts over water, every accommodation features a private pool - and an inspirational expanse of a sky-lounge roof deck. With all eight accommodation categories taking indoor-outdoor living to new levels of breezy sophistication, this is an elevated island experience entirely unique to the Maldives. The resort is a short 15 to 20-minute seaplane ride or a scenic 60-minute speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport.
