The board of Investment of Sri Lanka has signed a supplementary agreement with Kingsbury PLC with the goal to expand and refurbish the hotel situated at Colombo.

The supplementary agreement was signed by the Chairman of the BOI, Mangala Yapa and Rohan Karr, Managing Director at Hayleys Leisure Sector. 

Managing Director of Hayleys Leisure Sector Rohan Karr stated, "The Easter Sunday Bombing caused extensive damage to our restaurants at the Kingsbury Hotel. Our property is currently undergoing a total transformation with redesigned spaces and will soon be ready to offer our guests, unparalleled and unique dining experiences like never before. We will re-launch all outlets once the refurbishments are completed, just in time for when the industry will be reviving,"
