MSC Magnifica to dock in Male

On the 10th of April 2019, MSC Magnifica, the largest cruise liner which is currently being operated, will be visiting the Maldives and docking in Male for the very first time.

With over 960 feet in length and a 106 feet in width, the cruise is able to hold 1200 employees and more than 2500 people. They would be arriving to the Maldives, only due to the efforts of Travel Connections Maldives, who has brought the cruise ship to this island nation.

MSC is one of the largest operators of cruise liners worldwide. One of their ships, the MSC Meraviglia, is one of the largest cruise liners in the world, with 1000 feet and has 19 floors.

According to the Maldives Association of Yacht Agents (MAYA), 50 cruise liners have been scheduled to visit the Maldives in 2019.
