In the warm waters of the azure Indian Ocean lies a tropical dream island Mirihi Island Resort. Combining modern and traditional elements, the small paradise has been freshly renovated and reopened in December 2014 with a new shine, but still maintaining its unique Maldivian character. Mirihi is located in the South Ari Atoll, reachable from Male on a 30-minute picturesque seaplane flight. Due to its size and limited number of Villas, Mirihi is considered as being one of the smallest islands in the Maldives.

With the beginning of New Year 2019, Mirihi Team announces the ownership change of Mirihi Island Resort from Manta Maldives to VIE Maldives. The resort will continue to trade under the name Mirihi Island Resort and will continue to be the same unique paradise with the unique philosophies and wonderful team of dedicated staff members.

VIE Maldives is a subsidiary of VIE Hotels of Thailand owned by a Thai national Mr. Vicha Poolvaraluck. Khun Vicha is the founder of Major Cineplex in Thailand, the largest cinema chain with subsidiaries across South East Asia. His empire includes food retail stores as well as a private collection of 5-star boutique hotels Vie Hotel Bangkok, V Villa Hua Hin and V Villa Phuket (under construction).
