MTCC Increase the Number of Premium AC Ferries Between Male and Hulhumale

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has brought two more premium AC ferries to travel between Male and Hulhumale.


According to MTCC, the change was brought on April 20 due to the demand of passengers. The new inclusion will see to that ferries will leave each 20 minutes rather than in half an hour. 


MTCC also stated that additional ferries would be used at peak times during Ramadan adding up for those going to schools and offices and when they return.Five premium link ferries are travelling between Male and Hulhumale currently. The 20-minute ride costs MVR 10 per person.


Maldives Transport and Contracting Company, (MTCC) was incorporated in 1980 and is currently the longest-serving public company in the Maldives. The company was established with the objective to contribute towards the development of infrastructure and transport service in the country.
