Matato President Abdulla Ghiyas to Address at PATA Annual Summit 2018

Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) President Abdulla Ghiyas who has recently been named the 2018 PATA Face of the Future will be speaking at PATA Annual Summit 2018 which will be held at Gangneung, Korea (ROK) from May 17-20 2018.


The PATA Annual Summit 2018 conference will look at the various connections that are helping to shape the industry as it moves toward a more exponential future.


At the Summit, Mr.Giyas will be one of the speakers for the PATA Youth Symposium and will also be interviewed by BBC World News Presenter & Producer Sharanjit Leyl about how businesses can play a greater role in recruiting and retaining employees and how to bridge the generation gap to create a more harmonious workplace.




Furthermore he will also be one of the debaters at the UNWTO/PATA Leaders Debate at the one-day conference which will revolve around discussing about what the greatest challenge is that the travel and tourism industry faces today.


The PATA Annual Summit, hosted by the Korea Tourism Organization and Gangwon Province brings together international thought leaders, industry shapers and senior decision-makers who are professionally engaged with the Asia Pacific region. The Summit embraces a global forum for enhancing the sustainable growth, value and quality of tourism.


Founded in 1951, PATA is a not-for-profit membership association that acts as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel and tourism to, from and within the Asia Pacific region.
