Fushifaru Maldives has partnered up with some of the Maldives leading female wellness and creative figures to launch its wellness programme Maldivian Mind, Body & Soul for this Spring and onwards.

Having searched far and wide across the Maldives 1190 islands, Fushifarus Maldivian Mind, Body & Soul with Kai, Iman and Shifana will feature their signature brand of fitness and wellbeing, to encourage guests to take a break from technology and to return the focus back to themselves, while showcasing Fushifarus ongoing commitment to bringing local Maldivian talent to the forefront of guest experiences.

Mind Colour Therapy with Iman Rasheed

Having graduated with Honours in Graphic Design and receiving her Masters in Fine Arts from the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco, Iman thrives on finding the bright and colourful in lifes simple things.

The Maldives is the perfect drawing board to find inspiration with its natural vivid colours and incredible wildlife and Iman will be introducing her Colour Therapy to Heylhi Spa with experiences such as Mindful Drawing, a silent treatment that involves observing the islands natural patterns, textures and details, whether it be a seashell or coconut husk, and depicting it in whatever random representation the participant feels fit using a number of different tools such as paint, markers and pens. Iman will also be leading sessions of Observation Drawing and Watercolour Techniques, where guests will be encouraged to take pleasure in the therapeutic practice of focusing on the elements of nature to create their own artwork. In doing so, guests delve in deep to explore their own natural creativity and create unique momentos of their Maldives holiday as well as

something to hang on their wall when they return home, to forever remind them of the colours and textures they saw at Fushifaru.

Body Strength Training with Kai

A famous Maldivian wellness figure, renowned for her strength training retreats is Kai, who

will be creating a routine especially for guests at Fushifaru that will include a combination of

Muay Thai, boxing, HIIT, and core conditioning.

Kai will also be available to guests focusing on targeted areas such as rehabilitation and pre and post pregnancy conditioning. A certified trainer for over ten years, Kai has participated in various sporting events, boot camps and retreats around the world, including running a marathon barefoot in Athens. Kai is looking forward to meeting Fushifaru guests barefoot on the much softer sandy terrain of the island.

Soul Yoga and Dancing with Shifana Mufeed

Shifana will be bringing her dynamic aerial yoga, island dancing and mindfulness yoga to the vast beaches of Fushifaru, as guests will discover hidden corners of the island while flexing both their muscles and mind through her effective practice methods. A certified instructor and personal trainer, Shifana has brought her retreats to as far as Goa and Indonesia and looks forward to spending time at Fushifaru to help guests reap the benefits of doing yoga and dance in such a naturally beautiful setting, feeling the unparalleled feeling of sandy toes and sea breeze on warm skin.

To complement the retreats, Fushifarus culinary maestro, Chef Fatheen will be whipping out healthy menus and raw juices to fuel that burn and feed the soul. Look forward to infused coconut water, freshly caught Maldivian Yellow Fin Tuna seared to perfection and other signature dishes.
