Association of Travel Agents (ATA) Maldives to participate in New York Times Travel Show 2018

The Maldives based - Association of Travel Agents (ATA) has participated in New York Time Travel Show 2018 with 10 companies from the Maldives to represent the country at New York.

New York Times Travel Show is the largest and longest running travel trade and consumer convention held in North America. The 2018 edition will mark 15 years of the successful event, with over 8,000 travel professionals in attendance including 900 media professionals. More than 40 destination specific seminars will be held throughout the show and focused niche topics from cruising to family travel, exclusive trade-only exhibition hours, and an industry reception.

The New York Times Travel Show 2018 - celebrating the 15th anniversary of the annual travel show will be held from 26th to 28th January 2018, at the Jacob K. Javits Center, in New York City.

The Maldives has recorded a rise in tourist arrivals from the United States during the recent years, with 24,663 travelers visiting the country during the first eight months of this year alone. Due to the significant growth from the US, the country is now one of the top 10 source markets of the Maldives - holding the ninth biggest market share in this country's tourism.
