Prodivers
has won the much coveted Tauchen Award for Best Dive Center in the Maldives
Tauchen is
Germanys leading diving magazine, it has been sharing diving related news for
40 years and is well known and respected within the diving community.
Each year Tauchen asks the public to vote for
those in the diving industry who have provided the outstanding service or
products that make diving the enjoyable sport we know and love. Winners of
Tauchen Awards receive a Bronze Dolphin equal to an Oscar in the diving world.
Prodivers
were nominated and at the much anticipated awards ceremony at Düsseldorfs Boot
Show on 25th January evening, they were presented with a Tauchen
Bronze Dolphin.
"We
would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all our loyal guests who voted for
us, this amazing achievement would not have been possible without you!" Reads a
statement by Prodivers.
"Its
an honour to have been recognised with one of the most prestigious awards in
the industry."
With all the excellent dive centres in the Maldives, the competition was fierce. According to Prodivers, this achievement is an affirmation of the great work their teams at Kuredu, Komandoo, Hurawalhi, Vakarufalhi and Lily Beach are doing.
Prodivers operates its scuba diving centres on five separate islands in
the Maldives. Each centre
is tailored to suit the specific guests that visit each of the islands but the main principles for each of the dive centres remain
the same, ensuring that diving and snorkelling experiences of guest are as good
as they can possibly be.
Kuredu Island Resort is the home of Prodivers PADI 5 Star
Instructor Development Centre and is one of the largest and longest running
diving and snorkelling operations in the Maldives,set amongst an array of

with dazzling fish and a large number of channels for those seeking bigger fish

access to a large number of channels for those seeking bigger fish action.
Diving around Lily Beach offers a very good chance of
encountering whale sharks and manta rays which are frequent visitors in season.
Explore stunning reef formations covered with an abundance of amazingly
colourful soft corals.
The South Ari Atoll is home to some of the most famous and
well known dive spots across the Maldives. Vakarufalhi lies directly next to
some of the diving hot spots offering quick and easy access to a lot of these
sites.
