The St. Regis Maldives Resort welcomes a brand new Azimut Flybridge 66 yacht, the most technologically advanced luxury yacht in its class which the resort has named Norma, as a tribute to their long-standing history steeped in maritime.

The luxury yacht is available for guests to charter at their leisure whilst vacationing at the private island resort. Norma features three decadent cabins and is perfectly suited to those looking to dive, enjoy family adventures, indulge in a romantic getaway, or escape on an overnight trip.

Furthermore the resort also states that Norma, may also be chartered for guests as transfers options from and to Velana International Airport or across other resorts in the Maldives.

Featuring the finest comfort and the latest technology, Norma offers ultimate opulence whilst taking inspiration from the St. Regiss heritage as paved by its founder, John Jacob Astor IV. The St. Regis has a long-standing history steeped in maritime and the 2017 Norma is inspired by Mr Astors previous yacht, Nourmahal, which he purchased in 1884.

From December 2017, guests can explore the tropical Maldivian Islands aboard the luxury yacht at a starting rate of $1,950 per hour, with a minimum of four hours private hire. Overnight stay includes full board meals and a champagne sabering ritual during a sunset cruise for up to six guests. Tailored dining options can also be arranged.

Just 40 minutes from Male by seaplane is a newfound paradise on a private isle in the Dhaalu Atoll. The 77 all-villa St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is designed with great respect to its natural surroundings, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is surrounded by a large House Reef and the island is defined by several distinct ecological areas: lagoon, beach, coastal and jungle. At the resort, guests have the luxury of staying in one of the 77 island and overwater villas, each with a private pool.

Rather than repeating the secluded Robinson Crusoe theme or the concept of an exotic luxury escape abode, the design of The St. Regis Maldives draws inspiration from nature itself, including the local ecologies. Such aesthetics include manta ray shaped lagoon villas, a signature bar in the shape of a whale shark, a lobster-inspired spa and a spiral shell shaped library. Besides organic sea forms, some buildings are based on local cultural symbols; coastal villas along the southern shoreline, for example, are akin to Maldivian Dhoni boats.
