COCOON MALDIVES MANTA RESTAURANT NOMINATED FOR WORLD LUXURY RESTAURANT AWARD

Cocoon Maldivess gourmet Manta Restaurant has been nominated for the prestigious 2018 World Luxury Restaurant Awards, which celebrates excellence in the field of gastronomy.


Cocoon Maldives, designed by Italian-based LAGO, is competing for the award from the Luxury Interior Design/Architecture category.

The awards promote the nominated restaurants based on culinary excellence and memorable experiences from outstanding atmosphere and service. 

Voting for the award are made from guests and industry professionals based on the food experience as a whole, combined with aspects of service excellence, presentation, quality and menu choices.


Located on the pristinely stunning island of Ookolhufinolhu in Lhaviyani Atoll, only a short 30-minute seaplane ride away from Velana International Airport, Cocoon Maldives is best described as an actualisation of a dream to create a unique designer resort that mixes luxury, design aesthetics, and hospitality into a unique tropical island paradise.

Designed by renowned Italian firm LAGO, Cocoons minimal interiors complement with furniture made from 200-year-old wildwood defer to the overwhelming beauty of the surrounding marine environment and lush green vegetation that envelope the whole island.
