Adaaran Maldives has successfully held the first ever regional inter resort Bed Making and Decoration Competition last Monday.

The Objective and aim of the competition was to engage, appreciate, train & develop housekeeping staff of Adaaran Resort and the staffs who participated were the trained and guided in achieving optimum results.

"The Housekeeping staffs capabilities and Talents are hidden from the Public eye and only few Guests experience it." Said Tharaka Appuhamy, the Corporate Learning & Development Manager at Adaaran Resorts Maldives.

"Our aim is to highlight the Capabilities and Talents of the Housekeeping staff and give due recognition to them."

52 staff members took part in the initial Competitions which were held in Four Resorts of Adaaran, Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi, Adaaran Select Meedhupparu, Adaaran Club Rannalhi and Adaaran Prestige Vadoo.

The Winners and Runners up of the competition were then selected to form eight teams, consisting of two players that contended against each other on the grand finale that was held at Adaaran Prestige Vadoo on Monday which was witnessed and judged by Maldives Housekeeper forum and represented by General Secretary Mr. Hari Krishnan.

After a fierce battle against each other in the sessions of bed making and decoration, the Team One from Adaaran Prestige Vadoo was crowned as the champions and the teams members Hassan Majeed and Ahmed Hafiz took the first ever Adaaran Bed Making and Decoration Competition trophy. Adaaran Select Meedhupparu was named the first runner-up and Adaaran Club Rannalhi the second runner-up.
