Archaeological action and adventure beckon this festive season at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa as the resort announces "The Lost Temple of Kudak", an Indiana Jones-inspired quest that originated in ancient Egypt.

According to Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, guest staying on the resort may have a chance of winning a Four Seasons resort stay in Egypt by taking part in an exciting quest, as they embark on a culinary chase across the globe with daily-changing theme nights.

From quest-commencing cocktails at Shimabuku Jones Headquarters on December 21, 2017 to a Christmas clandestine "change-of-hands" meeting at Khan El Khalili Festive Bazaar on December 25, every day will bring a new adventure to all guests staying at the resort.

To progress through their quest, guests will have to decipher clues at each event and find their way to the Lost Temple of Kudak: a mythical marvel that opens its doors just once a year for a gala celebration of Pharaonic proportions on December 31.

"Decipher clues to complete the treasure map, visit the Valley of the Kings for adrenalin-fuelled water pursuits and enjoy post-adventure pampering at Cleopatras Island." Reads a statement by Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa.

Among other exciting happenings, the resort has planned Hatshepsuts Sunset Soiree, the Christmas Tree Lighting and Alexandria Cocktails & Fashion Show. In addition guests can dive and decorate an underwater Christmas tree, snorkel with Santa and his festive turtles, and reign supreme in the Battle of the Pharaohs Football Tournament.

Planned culinary capers extend from The Prophecy of the Lobster to classic European and Mediterranean festive favourites on the steamboat-style Cruise on the Nile, Japanese-flair, family-style seafood at Red Sea Yakiniku and much more in that the resort advises guests to "loosen belts for a gourmet archaeologists dream" as daily theme nights and events overflowing with mouth-watering clues and cuisines, trinkets and treats will be taking place this season.

Moreover the resort confirms that "mini Joneses" are in for a treat as well, with action-packed days at the Temple of Mysteries Kids Club, including treasure trails, snake charm obstacle courses, and camel beach races.

Further headline events for kids include the Mummies Mayhem Games Night, New Years Eve Makeover, Cleopatras Dream Catchers, festive photo shoots, talent show, and baby turtle monitoring and coral reefscaping. Lisa and the Kuda Mas agents are ready to immerse all treasure-hunters aged 4-12 in the complimentary fun from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day plus special festive evening activities.

Meanwhile as the resort transforms into Cleopatras Island for the festive season, The Island Spa is offering a series of "ancient beauty secret" therapies such as Milk Bath, Golden Facial, Divine Manicure and Pedicure, and Ancient Hair Treatment exclusively for the holidays.

A half-hour speedboat ride from Malé, lies Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, an enchanting garden island complete with Island Spa sea sanctuary, Tropicsurf coaches and guides, and waves that host the annual Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy. Its sister property, Landaa Giraavaru, lies to the north: a 44-acre wonderland in the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The luxury catamaran, Four Seasons Explorer connects the two via 3-, 4- and 7-night cruises, plus private leisure, surf and manta ray charters. The latest addition to the Maldives collection, Four Seasons Private Island Maldives at Voavah, Baa Atoll, opened in December 2016 as the groups first exclusive-use private island is off limits to everyone else except for its guests
