Emerald resort & spa located on the island of Fasmendhoo in Raa Atoll is set to open its doors to guests in July the following year.

The Resort will boast 120 Luxurious Villas with both contemporary and tropical touches, divided into 60 beach villas and 60 overwater villas. More than half of the total Villas inventory will have their own private pool and Jacuzzi pool. 

Each room will feature: Two flat satellite TVs (room and bathroom), direct dial phone, king size bed or interconnecting room, modern air-conditioned bathrooms with walk in shower, outdoor "under the stars" shower, bath tub for two, separate WC and bidet, dressing room and walk-in closet, luggage rack, hairdryer, bathrobes, personal safe, tea and coffee making facilities, daily

refreshed minibar, twice-daily maid service, room controlled air conditioning and overhead fans, working desk and also Wi-Fi internet access which will also be available all over the Resort.

The Emerald Maldives will also facilitate the Emerald Spa with Thai, Balinese and Indonesian massage therapists. In addition to featuring a specialised gym with Techno Gym equipment and personal trainers the resort will be host to 2 tennis courts, 1 squash court , a football field and various water sport activities.

The Emerald Maldives is set to delight visitors with a palette of exquisite gourmet adventures through four unique restaurants on the island. 

The main restaurant, Aqua will be set directly on the beach facing the clear blue ocean, and featuring indoor (air conditioned) and outdoor dining at its best. An indoor lavish buffet will be available for breakfast,lunch and dinner and it will include several different cooking stations each with individual international cuisines to stimulate guests palate: Mediterranean, Japanese, Italian, Chinese, Vegetarian corners and more.

The Beach Grill Restaurant will serve lunch and dinner in one of the best locations of the island. The restaurant will be facing the lagoon, while the uniqueness of the restaurant is to found in both the lavish interior design and the vast selection of fresh meat, fish, shellfish and vegetable cooked on a stone grill. A pizza and Pasta station will also be stationed in the beach club area.

The Asian Restaurant will be the perfect choice for guests who want to discover the tasty and delicious creations of the Asian Chefs whose main objective will be to deliver people an authentic flavour of the East, while respecting the traditions of Oriental culinary cultures and history.

Guests can also enjoy the live cooking show around the  Teppanyaki grill. The Asian Restaurant will be located in the middle of the Island within the forest creating a spectacular and innovative natural environment. 

The south American restaurant will be a specialty a la carte-dinner only restaurant where all the

exquisite dishes will be made according to the South American tradition using only fresh ingredients.This restaurant will be situated over water and guests will enjoy the dishes in a typical South American dining environment with natural stones and wooden interiors.

Furthermore the resorts Kids club will boast a selection of extravagant activities for children and specially trained staff to look after them
