With the festive season being just around the corner, Jumeira vittaveli has announced that the resort will be taking the celebrations of the joyous period of time to a completely new level this year. 

Jumeira vittaveli welcomes guests to be whisked away to a tropical wonderland with live entertainment, lavish gala dinners and exhilarating activities inspired by events around the world including the grand Venetian and Rio de Janeiro carnivals.

The resort has organised festal activities that both Families, couples can admire and enjoy such as performances by the Favera dance troupe, the resorts fire dancers showcasing their talent through the Art of Poi, a live concert by Simon & Eva or just partying on the beach to the resident DJ.

According to Jumeira vittaveli, the convivial activities that has been planned for the festive season starts in December and runs until the first week of January, when a glittering Russian Christmas event closes the festivities. The resort also notes that the carnival theme will be embraced by the Kuda Koli Kids Club, the Talise spa, the Dive Center and the restaurants & bars, so guests can enjoy the festive spirit across the island.

The traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony will be unveiling the resorts floating Christmas tree. Last years glowing-from-within tree was wrapped in foil (collected from the kitchens throughout the year) which was then recycled after the festive season.

For the resorts Orthodox guests, a lively celebration will take place on 6 January. An enchanting saxophone performance will be followed by LED, fire dance shows and DJ Eva will play into the night. Ded Moroz, the Russian Father Christmas, and his assistant Snegurochka will also visit on 31 December.

Furthermore the resort states that the little ones will not be left out as The Kuda Koli Kids Club will be hosting entertaining and creative exercises especially for them like stained glass painting, gingerbread house making, snowman building and Christmas tree decorating. A show-stopping entrance will also be made by Santa to deliver goodies and meet and greet the children and the young at heart on the 25 December.

"Over at our French fine dining restaurant Fenesse, we are introducing three new venues, the Cyan over-water lounge, Cuvée, the wine library, and Fumée, a cigar, shisha and vaping lounge. Our main bar has been remodeled and offers an extended entertainment and lounge area." Said Amit Majumder, General Manager, Jumeirah Vittaveli.

Jumeira Vittaveli has also prepared an array of possibilities and options for dinning for guests to indulge in such as gourmet set menus at the overwater venue Fenesse including the worlds best black caviars and selection of fine oysters including the Belon Oyster from France, the Gallway Oyster from Ireland and the Tsarskaya Oyster from Cancale in Northern France. Fresh White Alba Truffle will be shaved onto gourmands plates at Fenesse. MU Beach Bar & Grill will offer a stone grill with Wagyu grade 9++ Marble beef, cape grim beef and Churrascaria.

Moreover, Samsara Beach will offer festive gala dinners on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. Executive Chef Francis Cornelious will serve delicacies including Vindaloo (made with his mothers secret recipe), roasted butterball turkey, Christmas stolen and a special Christmas cake made from the fruit, nuts, and spirits mix that was prepared in a fun ceremony with guests in October this year.

A carnival party will take place on the  Samsara Beach on the new years eve, offering  a gala menu, live music acts, a stunning fireworks display over the lagoon and a Glow-in-the-Dark DJ beach party.
