Coco Bodu Hithi
has collaborated with Phemke, an effortlessly stylish range of ethically
designed resort wear, to open up a pop up shop of the brand at the resort in November.
The brand
Phemke was created by Femke Speelman, a woman whose love for travel and style
transcends boundaries. From the Middle East to Bhutan, the Netherlands, Belize
and Iran, Femke has enjoyed the pleasure of embracing unique and interesting
places, and gaining unforgettable experiences and memories.
The resort
will be welcoming Femke herself to open up the pop-up shop of Phemke, a brand
where simple elegance and effortless style meets sustainability; which is
perfectly aligned with the core principles of Coco.
"From the
beginning, my vision was clear. I wanted to create a fashion line that was
ethically made, from only the highest quality natural materials, and at the
heart of it all, I wanted to empower women, local communities and honor artisanal craftsmanship throughout the world." Femke says about the brand
through which she has created a sustainable mind-set and a lifestyle.
Whether it is a raffia sun
hat made by women on the stunning island of Madagascar or a pair of espadrilles
crafted by Spanish artisans, Phemke has embraced the need for slow fashion.
"At Coco Bodu
Hithi, we invite our guests to shop in a sustainable way and discover the many tales
behind each of these unique products. We embrace sustainability at the core of our
brand and are delighted to bring such ethical experiences to the sandy shores
of our islands "States Coco Bodu Hithi in an announcement.
