The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort has announced an extravagant list of activities to celebrate its first festive season.

The festive season celebrations on the resort will begin on December 23, with the resort holding a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Vommuli House from 17:00-18:00 pm.

The resort has organised an array of activities for Christmas eve, such as a Magic Show at Vommuli House especially for the children, a Knockout Pool Tournament with an amazing prize at Socialite for guests who enjoy playing pool and would love to show off their skills and a Sunset Welcome Reception where guests can enjoy The St. Regis signature beverages, live DJ and saxophonist while watching the sunset at the iconic Whale Bar.

In Addition, guests can tuck in-to a Christmas Eve feast hosted by the resort with live cooking stations and the finest selection of wine at the Alba restaurant. They will also be joined by Unoosha, the island nations much-loved leading vocalist who will provide a live performance on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The excitement of Christmas Day will be heightened for all children and guests with the arrival of Father Christmas at Alba Beach, where everyone can get a chance to take a selfie with the Santa Clause from 10 am until noon.

Guests can then indulge in a Christmas Day lunch at the resorts beach front restaurant, Alba, where they can enjoy a delicious three-course Mediterranean menu with an Asian twist.

After the Kids Fashion Show which kicks off at 14:00-16:00 where kids aged between 3-12 can bring their own beach and casual clothes and walk down a special runway show, Guests can continue the festive spirit with a special  Christmas Wine Dinner, a gourmet, five-course dinner prepared by executive chef Ayyoub Salameh at the resorts underground cellar Decanter. 

The chef and sommelier will host the dinner from 19; 00-23; 00 on December 25, and introduce each course and the wine chosen to accompany it.

Guests can minimize the holiday damage by taking part in an invigorating aqua cardio workout at the Iridium Spas Blue Hole pool on December 26. There is also an opportunity to experience a moonlight meditation session with the in-house yoga instructor and an exclusive Five-Course Dégustation Dinner.

On December 31, the resort will host a beachfront New Years Eve dinner from 20:30 until 23:30 at their signature restaurant Alba. Guests can then enjoy an unforgettable firework show at midnight whilst dancing away to live music by a Maldivian singer and DJ.

The celebration of the Festive Season lasts till January 6, 2018, with a myriad of activities and events arranged by the resort to provide guests spending their holidays at St.Regis Maldives an unforgettable and memorable holiday.
